MIDAS airport and border information programme
In operation
Paraguay's MIDAS implementation began at two airports and expanded through five linked projects 1. The July 2022 external evaluation commissioned by IOM and its Development Fund recorded both operational improvements and continuing technical and financial limitations. This entry groups the linked implementation rather than counting successive phases as unrelated awards. Budget figures identify the two initial projects only. They do not establish total spending, commercial supplier compensation or current system performance. The evaluation remained a programme assessment, not a court finding against a private vendor 1.
