NIRA identity-data disaster-recovery contract

Under review Status as of 23 December 2022 · Funding type: Not published

NIRA's disaster-recovery contract with USPC was examined in the Auditor General's report for the year ended June 2022 1. The auditor found the system undelivered at the November inspection, after full payment in June. Management reported a commitment to deliver by 30 November and said two progress reports existed, but they were unavailable for verification 1. Later delivery or recovery of damages is not confirmed. The report's contract-price table and narrative differ by UGX 1, which is recorded rather than silently reconciled.
