Passport and identity-card production
In operation
RvIG identifies IDEMIA (ID&D) as its document supplier and records contract expiry in 2029 1. The new passport model had a production defect affecting tactile features. Official records describe identifying affected holders and checking documents 3. In May 2025 the minister reported a correction to the production process and removal of faulty stock 2. Counts refer to different document groups and returned documents, not one reconciled total. The opened records do not provide the signed procurement instrument, contract value or a final independent assessment of all corrective measures.
