Jakarta and Bali automated immigration gates

In operation Status as of 2 April 2024 · Funding type: Not published

Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration reported 78 automated gates at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and 30 at Ngurah Rai Airport in the first quarter of 2024. Its April release describes passport scanning followed by facial verification connected to border-control management. Eligible foreign visitors needed an electronic passport and an Indonesian electronic visa or electronic visa on arrival. The authority's processing-time estimate was 15 to 25 seconds, not an independent acceptance finding. This dated programme record does not identify the supplier, contract price, award method or retention terms. It is not attributed to Securiport's separate immigration-control project. 1
