Passport Issuance and Processing System contract

Awarded Status as of 24 January 2022 · Funding type: Not published

Ireland's award notice names HID Global Ireland Teoranta as the contractor for the Passport Issuance and Processing System, with three tenders received 1. The system covers back-office applications and passport-holder records, with implementation, maintenance, support and training. HID's January 2022 statement identifies AG2, Inpute Technologies and WorldReach Software as partners 2. The notice records one contractor rather than a consortium award. Its total excludes VAT. The opened records do not establish final acceptance, system ownership, retention periods or the exercise of extension options. The award is separate from later passport-book production procurements.
