HID Global reported delivery of redesigned electronic-passport booklets and issuance software to Estonia's Police and Border Guard Board in May 2021 1. It said the authority had begun issuing the new books. The release describes personalisation, chip encoding and inventory tracking within the existing issuance system, and quotes an authority official on the new production process 1.
